Candidates become eligible to join Esteemed Lawyers of America® by being recommended by their peers, by submitting an application via the ELOA® website or if they are identified by our selection team.

2. Application Review

Once an application is received, our internal team will review the information. We’ll dig deeper than just the information provided on the application, and we’ll contact the lawyer’s references to ensure that you’re highly recommended by your peers. Past case results, disciplinary records and online reviews are just some of the criteria that is used when weighing our decision.


3. Approval

Only after a lawyer has passed our rigorous screening process will their listing go live on the ELOA® website. At that point, their listing becomes searchable, and they are eligible to add the ELOA® seal to their website.
