Philip J. Fulton, owner of Philip J. Fulton Law Office has been practicing workers’ compensation and social security disability law since 1980. Representing only injured workers and victims of disabilities, Mr. Fulton has received numerous honors for his commitment to the injured and disabled. These include his induction into the Ohio Association for Justice’s Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame and numerous Distinguished Service Awards.
Mr. Fulton’s advocacy for injured workers has led him to often be the face and voice of the injured worker at Ohio’s statehouse and before the Ohio Supreme Court. He has lobbied and negotiated numerous workers’ compensation bills and written hundreds of amicus briefs.
He is regularly published, and is the author of the treatise, Ohio Workers’ Compensation Law, Lexis Nexis, 1991, 1998, 2008, 2011. He has also taught workers’ compensation law as an adjunct profession since 2005 at Capital University law School.
Mr. Fulton received his bachelor of arts at Ohio State University and his Juris Doctorate at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
He has been listed in Ohio Super Lawyers since 2004 and Best Lawyers in America since 1995. He was president of the Ohio Association For Justice in 2005-2006, and is presently a Fellow in the Workers’ Compensation College and a Board member of the national organization, the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group, which is dedicated to representing injured workers.
