Olivier Taillieu is a distinguished trial lawyer based in Los Angeles, California. With nearly twenty years of professional experience, Mr. Taillieu is currently the managing trial attorney at The Dominguez Firm, where he specializes exclusively in cases relating to personal injury law. A recognized California Super Lawyer since 2014, Mr. Taillieu has recovered tens of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for his clients over the course of his career. Of note, Mr. Taillieu secured a record-setting $29,000,000 verdict in a single-plaintiff mild traumatic brain injury case.

Mr. Taillieu received his bachelor’s degree in communications from Arizona State University in 1996. He then went on to George Washington University School of Law where he graduated summa cum laude with his Juris Doctorate in 1999 and later became a member of the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Taillieu began his law career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lourdes G. Baird of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and then for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

In 2001, he joined top Los Angeles law firm O’Melveny & Myers, LLP where he practiced as a litigator in the field of intellectual property and technology. He went on to start his own firm in 2003, working on cases in the areas of patents, trademarks, unfair business practices, copyrights, breach of contract, antitrust, and torts law.

Mr. Taillieu transitioned to the world of personal injury law in 2012, and has since enjoyed working with clients seeking justice in personal injury matters. In 2016, Mr. Taillieu joined The Dominguez Firm, where he focuses on taking cases to trial in order to earn his clients the compensation they deserve.
