Gregory G. Brown, Esq. is an accomplished jury trial veteran and Certified Specialist in Civil Trial Advocacy, a distinction earned by less than 140 lawyers in California. A trial lawyer for over 26 years, he has spent over 500 days as lead trial counsel in jury trials throughout California. Brown has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest honor, an AV Rating, signifying that his legal abilities are of the “very highest standard” and his professional ethics are “unquestionable.” He is a member of the renowned American Board of Trial Advocates and has been named to “Super Lawyers”, a distinction given only to the top 5% of lawyers. Brown has earned the coveted AVVO Rating of “Superb 10.0/10.0 and has been selected to the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in the U.S. by the National Trial Lawyers.

Brown’s trial and litigation experience includes contract actions, fraud cases, trade secret litigation, trust litigation, commercial contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, unfair competition, false advertising, shareholder derivative actions, corporate litigation, professional liability, construction, personal injury and products liability suits. Brown has also tried numerous complex divorce cases. His successful defense of a Fortune 500 company in a $30 million fraud and breach of contract jury trial was featured in Verdict Magazine. His largest trial ever involved a Trust/Community Property dispute over the ownership of a well-known food & beverage manufacturer valued at over $157,000,000. The L.A. Daily Journal featured Brown’s achievements in a “Litigator Profile” article and has published dozens of his many trial successes. He has also served as an Arbitrator and Mediator.
Brown is an expert in the use of cutting edge trial technology, which no doubt gives his clients the edge. Brown was nominated Trial Lawyer of the Year 3 separate times and was selected Attorney of the Year in 2011.

Born in La Jolla, California, Mr. Brown attended the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in May 1987. He was named to the prestigious San Diego Law Review and served on the publication’s staff for two years. In his senior year he was a Founding Editor of the Journal of Contemporary Legal Issues. He is a member of the California Bar, as well as the following professional associations: Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Directors ’09-’13), Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Business Law Section of the State Bar of California and Orange County Bar Association.

Brown has been featured numerous times in periodicals such as Verdict Magazine, California Litigation and the Los Angeles Daily Journal. He has taught at the College of Trial Advocacy, has served as Judge Pro Tem, and works as a mediator and arbitrator.

Mr. Brown served on the Board of Directors of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation/PALS Charity for over 12 years. He is a sports enthusiast, triathlete, marathon runner, and Ironman Triathlon Finisher! He also enjoys the beach, paddle boarding, kite boarding and body surfing.
