How would you like to do something that I guarantee you none of your competitors are doing to market themselves? I am talking about marketing yourself using influencers on Instagram.

I believe that in a year or two, Instagram is going to be the most popular social network, even surpass Facebook at some point, even though Facebook owns Instagram. There’s so much potential with Instagram, and there are no attorneys that I know of that doing any sort of advertising, using influencers, or anything else with Instagram.

The reason for this is because nobody knows what to do. Therefore, I’m going to show you how you can get influencers to market your law firm on Instagram.

What Is An Instagram Influencer And How Can I Find One?

An influencer is somebody that has tens of thousands of followers, giving them some sort of influence, and a large reach, which is important.

You want to find influencers in your area, and you want to pay them. It could cost $50-$200, depending on how many followers they have. You want to reach out to them, and pay them to promote your service.

You’re going to open Instagram on your phone and click on the magnifying glass at the bottom. You’re going to click search at the top and on the top. There are four sections: top, people, tags, and places. You’re going to click places.

If you’re in a big location, you can click near your current location, and that will work just fine. Otherwise, you need to enter your city. I’m going to enter Tampa, Florida, and what’s going to pop up here is the nine most popular posts that are in Tampa right now.

Some of these posts are going to be people that are booty chicks and muscle guys. Now, they do have a lot of followers and interactions, but it might not be the audience you’re looking for. Then again, if somebody’s promoting your brand and they have an audience, then the more, the merrier.

What you can do is look at the different profiles. For example, I found someone from Tampa, Florida, who has 6500 followers and attends the University of Tampa.

If you’re a DUI attorney, this is the perfect guy to talk to. You can message him and say, “Hi, I am a DUI attorney in Tampa, Florida and I’d like to work with you to promote my firm using some influencer marketing. Would you be interested in a partnership?”

What you want to do is send them a message and offer to pay them to help you promote the firm.

How To Utilize An Instagram Influencer

How do you promote the firm? This influencer is not going to simply say, “Have you gotten a DUI call, you know, Johnson Smith and Johnson today.” What you do is you have him tell a story.

For example, you can have him say, “A couple of weeks ago my friend Mark was at Tampa Bay, and we’re out on the boat, and he got a DUI, and because he actually took the breathalyzer test instead of not taking the breathalyzer test or whatever it was, they had the evidence that they needed to convict him for DUI. If he would have called a DUI attorney” or he can say, “I was talking to DUI attorney Mark Smith, and he advised me that usually what the best thing to do is… If you have any other questions about DUI, this guy is extremely knowledgeable, he’s the guy you want to talk to, so give him a call.”

On Instagram, you can’t put links in the actual post, but the influencer can put a link in the bio. In the end, the way to do this is to tell a story that people can relate to and have your firm be the solution to the problem in their story.

For only $50, you may be able to reach 2,600 people, a lot of which might be in your exact demographic. It’s going to be cheaper than Google AdWords and Facebook advertising, and you have the option to be creative.
