How to Get Clients from Social Media
Hey everybody, Andy Stickel here. Today I’m going to show you the simplest way to get clients from social media. Whether it’s Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or anywhere that you can possibly imagine on social media. I’m going to show you the easiest way to get clients. It’s a simple formula. It’s a simple strategy. I use it all the time, and it works really well.
Step 1 – Client
The first thing you need to do is figure out exactly what type of clients are you trying to get. You need to figure out two things. You need to figure out what is it that they want and what is it that they’re afraid of. Once you understand that you’re going to create a simple piece of bait. This bait can be a cheat sheet. It can be a video. It can be an e-book. It can be anything like that. The important part is that you have to create it and it has to use what’s called a” how-to without “statement.
How-to Without Statement
The how-to without statement is the most important part of the bait because the how-to without statement is the title of the bait. A lot of people create these eBooks and cheat sheets and things like that, and then complain that they don’t work. The reason they didn’t work is because of the title. The headline was not good.
What we do is a very simple formula. Your title is “How-to (insert the thing they want) Without (Insert the thing that they fear). That is the title of your bait so it should be a very simple how-to without statements. For example how to get divorced without alienating your kids. It’s very simple. That’s exactly what you want to do. You want to figure out what is it that the people that you’re trying to target want and what is it that they’re afraid of.
Your Social Media Ads
What you’re going to do is you’re going to run an ad advertising the solution that you provide in your bait. You’re not going to advertise yourself. You’re not going to advertise your services. You’re not going to say hey, I’m a super lawyer and I’ve got $5 billion dollars in verdicts won. You’re not going to do anything like that. The only thing you’re going to do is you’re going to advertise the solution that’s in this bait. I do this all the time with Facebook ads. You can do it with LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram. You could do it anywhere but what you want to do is create an ad that is advertising the problem that this bait solves.
Step 2 – Landing page and results
You want to make sure that when they click on this ad they end up at your landing page. Be sure the landing page they are taken to captures their email addresses. Basically all it is says thanks for clicking on our page. If you want our free “whatever you are offering” enter your email address we’ll send in and we’ll send it straight to your inbox. They go here. They go to the landing page. They enter their email address and then the bait is then sent to them. Then what you want to do after that is you want to send a follow-up email. This can be in an automated email. The first email that they’re going to get immediately is the one that delivers their bait. The second email is going to be an email that says thank you for, it should look like a personalized email. You want it to say hey, thanks for downloading our material. I saw that you downloaded our free information. Did you have any questions? If so shoot me an email or respond to this email and we’ll set up a time to talk.
Using that you will get a lot of people that will then respond to you. Say actually I do have questions I’m thinking about going through a divorce or I’m dealing with a child custody issues or something like that. Then you can start talking to clients and you can start building your business. That’s the easiest way to do it.
